Leighton Meester arrived at the Tribeca Film Festival in a moss green and cream geometric pattern dress. The front is adorned with a bustier-style top and cinched at the waist with a pleated enclosure. The strapless dress is complemented by a simple drop golden necklace.
It seems like Leighton pretty much has the style and taste of the character she portrays in the hit television series Gossip Girl. The young actress plays Blair Waldorf, a young Manhattan socialite entangled in romantic relationships as well as designer clothing, bags, and shoes. The show revolves around the lives of a group of young co-ed socialites as well as the pains of growing up in the city with troubled family backgrounds. The show is a favorite among teenage girls mainly because of the fashion and of course, the boys.
For this event, Meester did away with the headband that her character is very well known for, but maintained the luscious wavy locks that kept girls going crazy over. She kept her makeup simple: blused cheeks, coral lips and a dash of lip gloss. This somehow made her dewy skin stand out, don’t you think? Her eyes were made up in a light lavender shade to bring out the color of her dress.
